4th International conference on Natural Products for Cancer Prevention and Therapy

In December the 4th annual international conference on Natural Products for Cancer Prevention and Therapy was virtually hosted by Erciyes University in Kayseri Turkey. 

The main goal is to gather the scientists from universities, research centers and industries from all over the world and offer to all a great and attractive conference joining different cultures and knowledge on natural products for cancer prevention and therapy together.

At this conference I shared an oral presentation titled, “Anti-cancer activity and pharmacokinetic properties of natural products.”

In this presentation I highlighted our work with rosemary describing our pre-clinical work detailing the pharmacology and pharmacokinetics that has helped design our pre-clinical animal models.

About the author

Dr. Johnson received his PharmD and PhD at the University of Wisconsin where he also completed a clinical research fellowship evaluating phytochemicals and botanical extracts. He is an associate professor and licensed pharmacist he offers a unique perspective on the most current scientific literature related to the health and nutrition. His research program is active and has led to more than 50 publications and published abstracts related to the health promoting properties of natural products, phytochemicals and plant extracts. He has presented some of his research findings at international scientific meetings in the US, Italy, Austria, Israel, France, China, Philippines and Turkey.
